These herringbone cargo pants are made in Japan and produced by Buzz Rickson ( Buzz Ricksons Buzz Rickson's ) from Toyo Enterprises. The pattern construction of these cargo trousers is a reproduction of iconic USMC P44 combat trousers (P-44 USMC HBT trousers nicknamed monkey pants worn by the United States Marine Corps during World War II). The fabric of these pants are made of 100% cotton unlined, single-ply, one-washed, non-stretch, slubby herringbone twill crisp cotton (HBT) fabric that is high-density and extremely durable. And they features multiple utility large cargo pockets with button-flap closure on the seat and thighs, button fly with internal gas flap, reinforced holes on the waistband and hem. And these Buzz Rickson USMC P-44 utility pants are cut to wear as a stylish easy fit (relaxed fit through seat and thigh) and ttraditional high-rise with straight leg openings. This item is new original creations by Buzz Rickson by Toyo Enterprises from Japan.

Measure flat across the back waistband from one side to the other with the natural dip. Double the number to get actual waist size.

Measure from the crotch seam to the bottom of the leg on the inside seam.

Fabric : Made of 100% cotton unlined, single-ply, one-washed, non-stretch, slubby herringbone twill crisp cotton (HBT) fabric that is high-density and extremely durable. Pre washed, minimal shrinkage. And the fabric will also develop a comfortable feeling and continue to get softer and cozier through repeated wear.

Storage : Two large thigh cargo pockets with button-flap closure. A large 3 button closure carrier pouch pocket (a large hip bag) on rear. Fixed rear carrier pouch pocket with 3 button-flap closure that forms part of the pants.

Other details : Seven belt loops for better support of your belt. Waist and inseam size stamped in black into the waistband, exactly as found on the original military examples from the 1940s. Eyelets for attaching suspenders on waistband. Large cargo pockets. Large butt pocket in rear intended for carrying the folded poncho. Eyelets for drawstrings in the outside surface of the leg hems. The buttons are reproduced to the correct P1944 trousers. Main seams are double-stitched for durability. Vintage USMC-style black enamelled USMC donut type steel metal buttons. 100% cotton tonal stitching. Two large pockets on the thighs, and one large pocket on the seat are secured by custom manufactured donut buttons, which have been stamped with the U.S. Marine Corps moniker. A wind flap button fly has also been added for protection from the elements. Reinforced holes were placed on the belt band to fit P1941 suspenders to avoid the weight pulling marines trousers down (SUSPENDERS NOT INCLUDED with pants).
